The palace ancient history is documented by the beautiful frescoes at the ground floor, representing St Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus. The building was enlarged in the 18th century by the Capponi family, marquises of Florence and during the 19th century it was transformed according to Neo-Renaissance style.
